Our cooking classes in Cagliari are back: fresh pasta and Sardinian sweets
The cooking classes by Le Strade del Gusto are back: new dates to get hands-on, discover traditional Sardinian recipes and learn to make them together.
Alongside the classes dedicated to fresh pasta and savory dishes, held as always at Salsamenteria, this year brings something new: traditional sweets cooking classes, hosted at Chiara’s home, our cook and traditions expert at Labirinto del Gusto.
Two paths, two locations and a calendar of sessions from November 2026 to April 2027, to rediscover gestures, shapes and flavors of Sardinian cuisine.
Cooking classes at Salsamenteria: fresh pasta and traditional preparations
Culurgiones, lorighittas, panadas and other specialties will be the stars of the sessions at Salsamenteria.
During each meeting we’ll work together on the doughs and shaping, following step by step the proposed preparations.
At the end you can take home what you made, from fresh pasta to the other items, to cook in your own kitchen.
The sessions will take place at Salsamenteria, via Sonnino 154 in Cagliari, starting at 16:30 and lasting two hours.

The new addition: Sardinian sweets cooking classes at Chiara’s home
This year the calendar expands with a path dedicated to typical Sardinian sweets, from holiday treats to traditional biscuits.
We’ll be welcomed by Chiara from Labirinto del Gusto, at her home in Cagliari. With her we’ll make papassinos, ciambelline, amaretti and other specialties, spending time on doughs, shaping and baking.
Selected ingredients and small groups
For these sessions we’ll use selected, high-quality ingredients, giving value to the raw materials and the recipes of Sardinian tradition.
The small group, with a maximum of 6 people, will make it possible to follow each step carefully, ask questions and take part in the work with Chiara’s guidance.
The cost of 90 euros per person includes ingredients, use of all the necessary equipment and baking. At the end you can take home the sweets you made, already baked and ready to enjoy.
Lessons will start at 15:00 and last about three hours.
