THE EXPERIENCE

We will visit the San Benedetto Market, the most important civic market in Cagliari and always one of the symbolic places of the city’s daily life.

Walking among the stalls we will discover fish and seafood, fruit and vegetables, cured meats, cheeses and many other specialties linked to Sardinian cuisine.

During the visit I will расскаnt the main gastronomic traditions of Sardinia, the products that are part of everyday cooking and those linked to holidays and special occasions.

We will talk about ingredients, seasonality, local production and traditional recipes, observing the products up close and meeting those who work inside the market every day.

It will be a way to get to know Sardinia not only through what you eat, but also through the stories, customs and people who keep its gastronomic heritage alive.

We will end the visit with a tasting of typical local products, including a selection of Sardinian cured meats and cheeses.

The entire experience is private and reserved exclusively for the Gift Card recipients: no other guests will be present.

THE NEW SAN BENEDETTO MARKET

From March 2025, during the redevelopment works of the historic building in Via Cocco Ortu, the activities of the San Benedetto Market are hosted in a new and modern temporary structure located a few steps from the historic site, near the Teatro Lirico of Cagliari.

The experience therefore allows you to continue discovering products, vendors and traditions of one of the city’s most representative markets even during the renovation period of the historic venue.

The Gift Card:

is valid for 12 months from the purchase date;

is personal and can be used exclusively by the people indicated on the Gift Card;

cannot be transferred to other people;

is non-refundable;

is valid for 2 people;

must be used within the validity period;
